About the Climate Smart Farming Project

The Climate Smart Farming Project aims to help farmers and other landowners in the Bega Valley Shire to adapt to current and future climate change.

To do this, the Project Team will select 4 properties in the Bega Valley Shire between December 2018 and July 2019 and on each of those properties we will work with the landowner to identify the likely impacts of climate change and ways of adapting to climate change.

All those interested in this project are invited to attend Community Meetings and Farm Visits to learn about this work. Dates and locations of these events will be published here and in SCPA News* as they become available. Other resources arising from the project will be published on this website.
